The Ultimate Cinewhoop for Filmmakers and Content Creators

Attention all filmmakers and content creators! Say hello to the EMAX Cinehawk , the ultimate drone for capturing cinematic-level FPV video. The Cinehawk is the result of EMAX's years of experience and user feedback in the high-quality flight performance arena. And, drumroll please, it's the first-ever cinewhoop from EMAX!

Unmatched Video-Capturing Ability

With the O3 Air Unit , the Cinehawk's video-capturing ability is unmatched. EMAX went above and beyond in designing a ducted 3.5" cinematic drone around the platform, carefully taking the O3 Air Unit into consideration to get the greatest possible image quality while still maintaining stability. The result? The Cinehawk is the perfect balance of serviceability, reliability, and performance.

Maximum Low-End Torque

The ECO II 2004 motors on the Avan 3.5" props provide maximum low-end torque to carry heavier payloads while maintaining response for close proximity flight. And guess what? The props and motors are upside down, making the drone more efficient and quieter, with longer flight time while providing clean ducted air. Plus, the O3 Air Unit and camera are on a set of dampeners, giving the gyroscope for Rocksteady the cleanest information possible.

Power to Carry Larger Payloads

Now, let's talk power. The Cinehawk is powered by high-performance brushless 2004 motors, allowing it to carry additional payloads such as Action Cameras and larger power sources, all while still remaining under 250 grams. Impressive, right?

Professional-Grade Video Footage

The Cinehawk also features the DJI O3 Air Unit , with a crisp 4K video feed and zero latency. This feature allows for smooth video recording straight out of the camera, even in high-speed scenarios such as action sports and motor sports. And, the DJI system is built with Rocksteady Video Stabilization, giving you professional-grade video footage every time.

Customizable Characteristics and Features

Based upon Betaflight, an Open Source drone operating system, the Cinehawk is designed to stay up-to-date and relevant for years to come. Filmmakers and content creators can customize the characteristics and features of the drone to fit their production needs, adding modules like GPS, personalized lighting, and more with ease.

Durability and Maximum Strength-to-Weight Ratio

Now, let's talk durability. The engineers at EMAX have utilized aircraft-grade carbon fiber to maximize the strength-to-weight ratio, making the Cinehawk faster, more nimble, and more controlled than any other cinema drone in its class. The skeleton-style drone frame also allows for easy serviceability and modularity to keep the Cinehawk future-proofed and repairable.

Receiver Options

Oh, and one more thing. The Cinehawk comes in two receiver options: PNP or ELRS 2.4GHz . The ELRS option is the newest Open Source radio system that allows for long-range and signal penetration while also allowing potential performance upgrades.

Key Product Highlights:

  • High-performance brushless 2004 motors for carrying heavier payloads
  • DJI O3 Air Unit for zero latency, crisp 4K video feed, and Rocksteady Video Stabilization
  • Aircraft-grade carbon fiber for durability and maximum strength-to-weight ratio.

Best book for beginners to learn safe practices in single pitch climbing
Format: Paperback
Great book for beginner climbers, especially those who want to set up top ropes. Goes over anchor setup, knots, gear placement, belaying, rappelling, etc. Lots of good photos. Very easy to read, don’t be put off by the description as a “manual”, and worth reading to learn how to do things safely. It’s definitely not just for those who want to guide or take AMGA courses. If you are debating getting this book or “Top roping” by the same author, get this one, as it contains 100% of the content in the other book (much of the exact same text and photos) and more, and is just as easy to read. In fact, this has a ton of overlap (and many of the same photos) with “Climbing Anchors” which the author co-authored, but is more accessible and spans a wider range of content. If you are the “leader” of your beginner climbing friends or even if you have some experience but want to take a beginner climbing outside, this is a must read.

Perfect reference guide
Format: Paperback
I bought this book to supplement my lessons with an AMGA guide to learn how to set up toprope climbs. I used it many times to practice and reinforce everything I learned. It is really well written and my favorite book in terms of the knowledge contained within. As common sense would dictate this is not a book to teach your how to toprope...it is a reference to what you have learned?

Essential To Read Before the Class
Format: Paperback
This book provides a good overview of what you'll need to know for your AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) course and assessment. If you plan to take that course this book is a no-brainer. You just have to buy it and read it. There are a few shortcomings: * The photos of how to tie the knots skip a lot and it is impossible to learn the knots from the book. * The photos of what not to do should be clearly labeled with a red cross bar or WRONG overlay on the photo. If you flip causally through the book and look at the photos some very wrong stuff is there and you have to read the text to know that it is not recommended. * The religious debate on anchor systems rages on. Should you set up a Joshua Tree System with Tether or a Backside System? I realize the AMGA doesn't want to pick sides and will say either is acceptable, but the book doesn't even try to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various anchor systems.
