Zorg voor meer veiligheid met de Bavaria BAGM4 gasmelder! Het gevaar van gassen is dat ze zich vermengen met lucht en zo zeer ontvlambaar worden, waardoor het kleinste vonkje al een explosie kan veroorzaken. Deze Bavaria gasmelder detecteert de gassen methaan (aardgas), propaangas en butaangas. Om deze verschillende soorten gassen te kunnen detecteren, moet de detector aangebracht worden op de plek waar je één van deze specifieke gassen wil detecteren.

Methaan (aardgas) wordt voornamelijk in woningen gebruikt, terwijl propaangas en butaangas in caravans, tenten of boten gebruikt worden. Wil je zowel methaan (aardgas) als propaan en butagas detecteren? Dan heb je 2 melders nodig.

Hoe monteer je de Bavaria BAGM4?

De gasmelder heeft een adaptervoeding en werkt op een netspanning van 230V-50Hz. Deze melder is een ‘stand alone’ alarm en wordt dus niet op een ander systeem aangesloten. Gebruik de adapter en 9V-batterij wel altijd allebei. De meegeleverde 9V batterij is alleen voor back-up en kan niet worden gebruikt als onafhankelijke stroomvoorziening.

  • Bepaal eerst welk gas je wil detecteren.
  • Wil je methaan (aardgas) detecteren? Monteer de gasmelder dan op ongeveer 30 cm afstand van het plafond en op 50 cm afstand van de nok van een schuin dak.
  • Wil je (de zwaardere gassen) propaan en butaangas detecteren? Monteer de gasmelder dan ongeveer 30 cm boven de grond.
  • Lees in de meegeleverde handleiding waar je de gasmelder beter niet kunt monteren.

Let op: de gasmelder moet steeds na 5 jaar gebruik vervangen worden, want na die tijd kan een goede detectie niet langer worden gegarandeerd.
